THE STORY
Edward Stuart Robinson (1944-2014) retired from school teaching to establish a vineyard in the Grampians Region of Victoria. This was a catalyst in his daughter Rachael’s decision to become a winemaker. While Ted grew shiraz, he always had a sweet tooth. This sweet muscat is made in his memory.
Muscat grapes were harvested late in the season when sugar levels werre high. Fermented on skins and fortified with neutral spirit before aging in old oak barrels. This is the first bottling of our muscat solera.
